Process to apply Sticky Mesh
Sticky mesh is applied quick and easy to all shapes of foam molding. Determine the width needed to cover the molding. Add 3" to allow about 1 1/2" back wrap on the top and bottom of the molding. Noted in the video. When the molding is being installed the back wrap is pulled away from the molding and used as a flange and embedded into the stucco.
Process to apply the coating
After the Sticky Mesh is applied to the foam molding profile it is ready to coat. Here a smooth coat finish is being applied. Note the acrylic coating mix is soft so it will spread evenly when the form slides over the molding. The space between the molding and the form determines the thickness of the coating. The table must be smooth and flat so the screed form leaves behind a surface with no imperfections.
